Some of the best experiences I’ve had with my HTC Vive have been in WAVExr… previously known as The Wave VR.
Out of those experiences, discovering TOKiMONSTA stands out as the best of the best.
Early on she had a “show” there where her album, Lune Rogue, premiered. The show was on a schedule so it took me a few times to get there at the start but … WOW … when I did, I never loved my VR rig so fucking much.
The intro was thrillingly immersive and the music was an instant hit with me – a rarity, to say the least.
Check it out, although be warned this cannot compare to being there.
Initially my favorite tune was Rouge (now I love every tune with no favorites). Here it is…
And being the music breakdown lover that I am, it was satisfying to find her breakdown of the tune (ah that beer):
But the more I learned about her the more I was blown away by her story. This is a woman who came back from one absolutely horrendous illness, moyamoya.
